det turkise / Nuri / futuristic echo-industry

Step inside a huge columned harbor hall with high ceilings and walls of raw concrete. Heavy smoke and light cones. Underground on the first floor. Order a turquoise brew at the bar and find a good stool on the warming rugs. In a little while he steps in. Hidden behind his pearl mask and equipped with deep bass-musical spells, Nuri will enchant the entire space which you are a part of.

Floating on futuristic, electronic productions Nuri grows his African roots far into the future. A future where progressive, polyrhythmic house-grooves is the soundtrack of a more cohesive world. In a hypnotizing span between organic, hand played percussion and spacy electronic soundscapes Nuri connects an ocean of musical traditions. Immersed in a ritual understanding of the concert and the party, the audience can look forward to a journey from crisp north African beats to heavy jungle grooves and further into vivid folk singing spanning Africa to Asia.

Nuri visited Root&Hybrid Festival 2019 and returns to det turkise telt with a newly released album the day before, which we are very much looking forward to experiencing. The huge space in Kornlageret, Mindet 6 forms the raw and concrete-filled setting, and with only 100 (!) tickets for sale, this will be a very special evening.

The tickets costs 100 DKK. The concert takes place seated. Feel free to bring your nice, warm sweater.
