det turkise telt presents Kalaha feat. Hilal Kaya under the sun and out into the world.

Every time Kalaha comes together they weave, twist, honor and borrow their way through a magnificent array of musical traditions, hitting deep in your body and rhythm. Four albums strong, and together with an inspiring cast of voices from near and far, Kalaha has created a collective and global sound filled with melody, humor, improvisation and celebration. A group of musicians as captivating live as they are creative and curious.

Nordic acid and folk, west African highlife, Anatolian psych-rock, Brazilian samba and desert blues from the Sahara. Kalaha crafts music that opens up the world. For this specific concert the group will be featuring Tyrkish singer Hilal Kaya, who shines as the voice from their latest hits’Özgürüm Ben’ and ’Çok Küstüm’ as well as their newest single ’Laga Luga’.
