Global Control/Invisible Invasion is the title of electronic producer and musical craftsman AMMAR 808s’ latest release. A mythological and fierce album mixing the musical traditions of South India with deep bass vibrations, high frequency flutes and trance inducing flows through time and space.

Via earlier projects of AMMAR 808’s, the artist also brings a strong, club-oriented connection to Maghreb traditions. He has also contributed as producer and keyboard player for the likes of Bargou 08, Kel Assouf, Acid Arab and Sofiane Saidi. His sound has shaken dance floors across Europe, but deserves just as much attention and presence in a contemplating space open for the music’s magnificent detail and power.

Presented in a dark an enveloping universe, centering live visuals as a fundamental part of the concert, UngK's old church ship will for this evening becoming something of a mix between a music venue, a cinema, a seated night club and ritual site. VJ Sia will produce live visuals on the night.

SUPPORT: Sofus Forsberg
Local veteran producer Sofus Forsberg will act as support for AMMAR 808, setting the scene with deep atmospheric soundscapes before and after the show.

Note: The concert has been moved from Gellerup Art Factory to UngK due to a local covid-lockdown in the area of Gellerup.
