Indian trio headed by highly acclaimed Tabla player brings healing vibes to det turkise telt.
Born into a musical family in Kolkata, Arunangshu started learning Tabla at the age of six from Pandit Shyamal Bose and Pandit Shankar Ghosh in Farukabad style. The influence of North and South Indian classical rhythm blended with inspiration from African, Japanese, Indonesian, Turkish and Persian traditions and grow together to a unique sound embodied in Arunangshu himself. To this day, the Tabla master out of Dehli has a vibrant career spanning more than 15 years, and many performances at major stages around the world; from London to Paris and further on to Johannesburg and Tokyo. For this show, Arunangshu will perform with a trio, side by side with Md Mintal Gazi on acoustic guitar and Mudassir Khan on Sarangi.
